Supply Crate: Holiday Cheer 10

Today we are checking in with a special Supply Crate request. This one comes to us from Daniel and his Special Forces group. You may remember Daniel from our #GivingFriday campaign. Take a look at Daniel’s request below!

“We’re an ODA (ODA = Operational Detachment: Alpha = Special Forces “A-Team”) with attachments working in Africa with little to no access to amenities. We would love to receive a package to put in our team area in order to pass the time and relax.”

Thanks to all of our amazing supporters on #GivingFriday we were able to get Daniel and his fellow soldiers some great gaming gear. We packed up a Supply Crate full of games, and goodies along with a Playstation 4 for all of Daniel’s relaxation needs!

When the crate arrived, Daniel took some awesome photos and sent them back to us along with this great thank you.

Thank you to all the supporters of Stack-Up from the men of ODA 3132. We received our supply crate just in time for the holidays and some down time that came with them. Madden and FIFA have become our go to with tournaments running nightly and a white board dedicated to win-loss records.

Rivalries are forming and guys are trying to find time to practice in between work and working out to sharpen their mad skills. Work productivity may have declined slightly but morale is through the roof! A guy can only handle so much AFN (Army provided satellite tv) before he loses his mind.

Thank you again, this supply crate has truly improved our living conditions and gives us a much-needed form of relaxation. You may not realize it but this will keep our sanity intact.”

Thank You, Daniel and all the soldiers of ODA 3132 for all that you do! Thanks to all of our amazing supporters who helped make this special Supply Crate a reality!

If you’d like to make a donation that gets sent over to our troops as a Supply Crate, Stack-Up takes lightly used PS4, and Xbox One games and gear as well as cash donations. Your Supply Crate not only made my Christmas, but made my year; this has really turned things around for me. Stack-Up is truly a thoughtful organization, designed to bring happiness to us vets who have an extremely hard time finding happiness anywhere in their lives.

"I heard from a brother that you guys helped him out; to see that kindness still around is amazing. As a vet its hard sometimes, and having groups like yours out helping for nothing in return its great. Please keep up the great work and don't ever stop."
Nickolas S.SGT, Retired Army
...while we have all had various types of awesome care packages delivered to us over the years with toiletries, tobacco, and tasty treats, none of us have ever experienced anything quite like a Stack-Up Supply Crate.

Working on the flightline, 12 hour days are normal and there are so many stresses that come with my job. Being able to come home and forget all of it for even an hour does wonders for me personally. I have built so many friendships in Stack-Up and I can't wait to make more. It's a family.
